The 39-minute Kannada short film ‘Madhyantara’ was shot on celluloid and was screened as part of the Indian Panorama section at IFFI. The story is set in the 1970s Karnataka, India, where two boys from a small village, embark on an extraordinary journey as they go from being pedestrian film-buffs to filmmakers themselves. This short was shot in Kantirava studio where many classic movies of the '70s and '80s were shot.
